Metal 7 must exercise its responsibilities to the utmost owing to the critical nature of the operations of its clients. Since continuous processes are used in the pulp and paper industry, in aluminum production and in iron ore pelletizing, plant management must ensure the adopted solution is in fact viable in order to minimize the risk of incurring substantial losses from lost productivity. Before commercializing its products, Metal 7 works in close collaboration with its strategic clients to validate its products and make sure they meet expectations.
Innovation
Innovations are the bedrock of the Metal 7 business model. From the very beginning, Metal 7 has been integrating technologies originally developed for the aerospace industry and biomechanics and adapting them to the primary industry (thermal spray coating). As case in point, the Metal 7 differentiation strategy is based on its quarter-of-a-century experience in designing, producing and integrating innovative metallic and ceramic coating for equipment and parts used in heavy industry.
Diligence
Metal 7 is concerned about operating correctly, accurately and precisely in order to avoid delays, over-budgeting, inconsistencies and other unwelcomed surprises. This attitude was adopted by the company because of its desire to keep its promises and to put their clients' minds at ease. The company has been maintaining an ISO 9001 quality assurance system since the mid-1990s and has been using the 5S approach in the operations area. Its innovative technologies are subject to tests in laboratory as well as in occupational settings before being commercialized.
Health and safety

Considerable resources and energy have been committed to environmental safety during the past years and these very efforts have been recognized by prestigious awards. Concerned with employee health, Metal 7 has introduced a very popular fitness program for all its employees.

Every day, Metal 7 strives to minimize its environmental impact by maximizing the recovery of waste and being mindful of greenhouse gas emissions. Externally, the durability of the proposed equipment extends the products' operational life, thus reducing the replacement rate. Moreover, the emergence of high-energy efficiency combustion systems have allowed clients to significantly reduce the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere during the past decade.
