Metal 7 Inc. hosted delegation of Kachkanar Mining and Pelletizing Works - Vanadium JSC

December 22, 2003 – Metal 7 Inc. becomes more and more known among Iron Ore Companies on the territory of the former Soviet Union. Increases of iron ore demand forces the producers to modernize their equipment to improve productivity and to meet the market requirements in quality.
On December 8-10, 2003 Metal 7 Inc. hosted a delegation of Kachkanar Mining and Pelletizing Works – Vanadium JSC from Kachkanar City, Sverdlovsk Region, Russia, which purpose was to get acquainted with Metal 7’s products and to discuss possibilities to supply of the similar value-added products to Kachkanar.
Kachkanar Mining and Pelletizing Works – Vanadium JSC is located in Urals Mountains on territory of Russian Federation and is one of the largest Iron Ore Companies with annual Iron Ore output of 45 mln tons. The Company produces diverse brands of marketable Iron Ore and supplies its customers with concentrate, sinter and pellets. The principal customer is Nizhni Tagil Steel Mill (NTMK), Nizhni Tagil City in Russia. In 2003, they also initiated the exporting of their products to Europe.
The Russian guests had a tour of the Company’s plant and a presentation and what the firm could offer to its customers of this field. The group also had the opportunity to visit the pelletizing plant of two Canadian iron ore producers.

The parties have agreed to continue cooperation in 2004 and technical information for the preparing of commercial proposal will be sent to Metal 7 Inc. in the following weeks.
